This is a very big boatyard. In my head I sing the Pretenders’ favourite as I rush to the toilet block, back to the boat, climb the ladder and then set off across the site again to get something from the chandlers, forget to collect the now dry washing (2 loads at 5€ each) on the way back. Interrupted from the next job to go to the tech dept to check when someone’s coming to do something. …. And I will walk 500 more ….
To the marina restaurant for Greek salad and a litre of water, to boat, up ladder, to office to pay another bill. Back to the boat, forgot the washing again. My new shorts are going to need a belt soon – hooray!
